The MASD was established in 1973 . The studio consists of two 600 square foot rooms, one with an oak sprung floor, the other with a subfloor covered by a professional Rosco Marley Floor. Each studio is fully mirrored and has two observation windows, in each, that are opened monthly for parents to observe progress.The waiting room seats up to ten people and parents may wait there for their dancer to complete dance class. The school is fully air-conditioned and each studio is fully equipped with state -of -the -art sound equipment,I-pods, and two televisions with VHS/DVD for viewing rehearsals, performances, or educational dance films. There is a small dressing room where students may change and store their gear.
